TrialPocket Support

TrialPocket keeps the clinical trials you follow in a private watchlist on your iPhone: search ClinicalTrials.gov, save studies with your own notes, and compare your saved records with the current official data field by field.

Quick start

  1. Tap Add trial and search by NCT ID, title, sponsor, or condition.
  2. Select a result and save it. Your first saved trial starts 30 days of full access.
  3. Open a saved trial and run a source check to see what changed in the official record since you last looked.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone, in the app's local database. There is no account, no cloud, and no developer server. See the privacy policy for details.

What happens when the 30-day access period ends?

Your saved trials remain readable and exportable forever. Adding, editing, source checks, and backup import require the one-time Pro unlock. Deleting all local data always remains available.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a single one-time purchase. The App Store shows the price for your storefront before you buy.

I already bought Pro. How do I restore it?

Use Restore Purchase on the unlock screen or in Settings. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID that made the purchase.

How do I move my watchlist to a new iPhone?

In Settings, share a JSON backup from the old phone, then use backup import on the new phone. Restoring replaces the current watchlist, and the app asks you to confirm before it does.

How do I get my data into a spreadsheet?

Settings offers a CSV export that opens in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

How do I delete everything?

Settings includes a full local-data deletion option. Deleting the app also removes its local database.

Can I store patient information?

No. TrialPocket is for public study information only. Do not enter patient data, patient identifiers, or protected health information.

A trial's official record looks wrong.

TrialPocket displays what the public ClinicalTrials.gov API returns. Corrections to a study record must come from the study sponsor through ClinicalTrials.gov itself.
