Privacy Policy
TrialPocket is an iPhone app for saving and organizing public clinical trial information from ClinicalTrials.gov. The app is built so that the developer does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
Nothing. TrialPocket has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service, and no developer server. The app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Everything you save in TrialPocket, including trial records, notes, source-check history, settings, and purchase state, is stored in a local database on your iPhone. The app does not sync this data to the developer or to any third party. If you delete the app, its local data is deleted with it.
TrialPocket connects to exactly two services:
The app makes no other network requests.
You can export your watchlist as a CSV file or a JSON backup. These files are created on your device and leave it only when you choose to share or save them. You control where they go, and you are responsible for protecting any copies you make.
TrialPocket is for public study information and research organization only. Do not enter patient data, patient identifiers, or protected health information. Because the app has no developer server, anything you type stays on your device either way, but the app is not designed or intended to hold patient records.
TrialPocket is a professional reference tool and is not directed at children.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, for example by adding crash reporting, the policy will be updated here and the effective date revised before that version ships.
